I get the same message - sometimes. It seems to be a known issue but there are no easy answers, yet.

Must confess that I've never had it on any device.   I do run some anti virus, anti hic-cup, anti almost anything software that cleans up every morning before I start running anything.  I also have Microsoft Security Essentials running in the background which helps keep the device clean.   My iPad is the only one to which I have not added any special software,, and so far I have not had any non-user created problems.  But I am still learning my way round all the various bits and pieces.    ZXZ

Today I received a very short mail to my Gmail account asking me to verify the account by clicking to go to another site.  Probably a scam, has anyone else had it and actually clicked on the link?

The link is probably to a scam site.  If you mouse over it, it should reveal the true destination.

Oh yes, I've no idea why this should be, to be honest! I will have to investigate.

So I see. It's a little bit odd, as the pic I uploaded yesterday is dated correctly and so are all the others uploaded this year. It's a puzzler!

It was put to me recently that a number of people feel unable to post on the Forum as they are concerned that their comments will be perhaps derided.

To be honest, I find this a little hard to believe. I've always used the analogy of the Forum as being like an online Pub, with a hard core of regulars who know each other fairly well, and a wider range of other people who drift in and out of conversations as the interest takes them. In addition, there are those people who come to the Pub every day but just sit in the corner and enjoy other peoples' banter without joining in themselves.

Discussions on the Forum take many forms, and they can, of course, become heated. Again, this is just a reflection of discussions in a Pub environment, which can even sometimes end in fisticuffs.

My own view is that everyone is welcome to post but this is a discussion forum and you must expect to have your views challenged sometimes. It would be very boring if we all just agreed with each other all the time! At the end of the day, it is just words on a screen, so please take courage, start posting, and get stuck in.

Whatever the problem was with me posting photos and having the wrong date seems to have sorted itself out. Photo posted today shows 'today' $3towns$
