Former Llandudno councillor Ronnie Hughes

Tributes have been paid to a former Llandudno councillor who died this week. Former council leader Ronnie Hughes served Conwy over three decades and was council leader for five years.

He continued to serve the council until three years ago. A spokeswoman for Conwy County Borough Council said: "Everyone at Conwy County Borough Council is saddened by the news of the death of former councillor Ronnie Hughes.
