Llandudno Christmas Parade: Dates, times, parking, road closures and the 2021 route
The family event will stretch across several busy roads in Llandudno and is expected to see thousands in attendance

The showpiece is billed a free to attend Christmas family event with entertainment throughout the day, followed by a parade led by the Llandudno Town Crier and Father Christmas in his sleigh.

The Met Office have forecast temperatures of up to 8°C with some light showers towards the evening, and people are being advised to wrap up warm as temperatures are anticipated to feel like 2°C with winds hitting speeds of 36mph.

Attractions will include bands from Liverpool, casts from Theatr Colwyn Pantomime, Marvel Characters, Disney Princesses and much more.

The 2021 Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 4.

The Parade will proceed from Llandudno Train Station, along Vaughan Street onto Mostyn Street, and then heading into Lloyd Street, down Madoc Street, Augusta Street and back to the Llandudno Train Station.

You will find the event spread on the roads around Trinity Church, Augusta Street and Madoc Street.

Entertainment will be in place place outside the Llandudno Town Hall from 2.40pm, followed by the main parade taking place from Llandudno Railway Station at 4pm.

Several characters from the parade and Batala Bermo Samba Band may also be wandering around the town earlier in the day to meet and greet the public.

Those who wish to go to the Christmas Parade have been asked to avoid driving if possible due to the high volume of people who are projected to attend the event but parking will be available at the following locations:

Llandudno High Street, Free of charge
Mostyn Champneys retail park - Two hours free parking [1021 spaces]
Parc Llandudno - Two hours free parking [521 spaces]
Llandudno Promenade - Free of charge after 4.00pm [680 spaces]
Maelgwyn Road Car Park - 70p charge after 6.00pm [134 spaces]

Asda Llandudno - Two hours free parking [510 spaces]
Llandudno Victoria centre - £1.50 for two hours [366 spaces]

Lloyd Street will be closed from 2pm to 6.30pm and there will be rolling road closure for the Parade route from 4pm to 6pm which will include along Vaughan Street to Mostyn Street, into Lloyd Street, down Madoc Street and Augusta Street heading into Llandudno train station.

Admission is free to watch the parade, but donations are encouraged.

ARE THERE ANY COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS?

Llandudno Town Council will be following the current government guidelines to keep the event safe.

Please do not attend the event if you have Covid-19 symptoms, have been asked to self-isolate or have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10 days.
