Asylum seekers refusing to leave hotels risk homelessness
Single adult male asylum seekers who refuse to move out of hotels into "suitable alternative accommodation" will risk becoming homeless, the Home Office has said.

The government - which is legally obligated to house destitute asylum seekers - says its new "Failure to Travel" guidance would establish "clear consequences for those who game the system".

Now we all know about the numerous free perks these people get but even I was shocked when I was told a story by a man who once worked at these type of establishments.     He said that the asylum seekers are asked what do they want, a Samsung or an I phone then he added that a dentist calls there twice a week and a doctor calls once a week
It's no wonder that the UK citizens are feeling resentment against these asylum seekers, most of whom are just economic migrants

Starmer said he was going to "smash the gangs" ... there is a simpler solution - stop the benefits, stop the incentives to come here.

It is ridiculous that we are paying millions to support these people - mainly young males who, if they are disappointed with their home country, should be fighting those who are causing the problem - and where are the women and children.

I saw a news item last night about a "posh" hotel in Canary Wharf being taken over by the government to house immigrants.  The normal cost of room hire is £400 a night.  We are paying for that.  There are other news items on youtube.

... and why do we have to wait months, years, to see a doctor - we are the ones who have contributed to the NHS.

... I am not racist, my job involves meeting people of all nationalities and I treat them all with the same welcome and asistance.  But these immigrants are destoying this country, aided by the government.

Love him or loathe him, Nigel Farage is right.

The asylum system is unfair to UK  citizens and is unsustainable but it has to be stopped but how does the Government go about it?       The Conservatives had no idea whatsoever, this Labour Government  is not doing any better either.      You can target gang leaders all you want but when there is a demand for something then other gang leaders will go in to the vacuum to replace the old gang leaders.
Farage has the right idea but hasn't come up with any solution to the problem.   Any undocumented young men who come in to the UK will not be granted UK citizenship, that's fine talk but what do you do with undocumented young men once they are here?        Where do you deport them to if they are undocumented?
The perfect solution would be to stop the boats from entering British waters and turn them back to the country they came from.    That's easy but then it is against international law apparently    We could do what the Italians did in 1971 when 15,000 young male Albanians landed illegally in Bari in Italy.
There was no conflict in Albania and Albania was not in the EU  so Italy sent the 15,000  men back to Albania as soon as they could.    There's nothing wrong with that

Anger as family of 10 'barged their way out of Welsh pub without paying bill'
Landlady Kelly Jollife claimed the family made off without paying their full bill after eating starters and main courses

This particular incident didn't  happen in North Wales but it can happen anywhere and does.     Providing there are CCTV cameras available this is a good example where puplishing the images on social media may help to trace the criminals and then the long arm of the law can step in and prosecute the thieves just like they did in Swansea in recent times
Name them and shame them ( if that's possible )

Most popular boys' and girls' names of 2024 revealed

The most popular names for children born in England and Wales in 2024 have been released, with Athena and Yahya making it into the top 100 for the first time.

Muhammad tops the list of boys' names for the second year running, with Noah and Oliver also making second and third place, respectively, as they were in 2023.

I wonder if there is a similar record that shows the most popular  names of the children that were born in Wales in 2024?
