Thanks for that Hugo ... problem with counties names and boundaries changing all the time!  I hope they have got Eglwysbach and Llansantffraid there as I would like to view them fairly soon!

I'm going to the Conwy Archives on Monday so I'll check to see if they have the records there

Freereg has this burial at St Martin, Eglwysbach. Roger Hughes was an infant as his age was 1 year.

I visited the Conwy Archives today and the Archivist confirmed that the Burial Indexes for Glan Conwy and Eglwysbach are both there
These indexes only show the graves in the Church grounds that have headstones but they are listed alphabetically so it's easy to find the grave
Only two researchers are allowed in at a time and you must reserve a slot beforehand.    The people working there are very helpful and it's as safe as anywhere could be in these times

Conwy Archives is now re-open from Mondays to Wednesdays, by appointment only. To book a morning or afternoon slot, email archifau.archives@conwy.gov.uk or phone 01492 577550. When you book, you will receive our new guidelines which explain the changes we have made so as to provide a safe service. We are looking forward to seeing you!

It must have only recently changed because I was using the free service online throughout the summer.

There is always the option of signing up to their 14 day free trial.

Hugo.
So if no headstone, I will not find out about who is in the grave with Thomas & his wife?
