Take a look at the attached photo, taken in Armenia of a woman in National Dress. Nothing unusual about it, until you learn that it was taken back in 1910!

I think it's the dress that is 1910 not the photograph!    ))*

Hard to believe, I know, but the photo was taken in 1910. This photo of the Nikolaevskii Cathedral was taken in 1911:

Quite astonishing, Dave.  I knew about the primary recombination system of taking colour pics, but I've never actually seen the results until now.

The Little Orme
« Reply #50 on: November 30, 2010, 12:17:49 am »
Over the years many people have said to me how much the Little Orme reminds them of an Elephant...

I could never really see it myself, until I took this picture earlier today.... see what I mean?

No, I AM DEAD IMPRESSED. Especially as you state you took it earlier on today and the post was timed at 12,40 a.m. or thereabouts? You trying to beat Dave's night shots?  Seriously, it shows the elephant similarity up fine, if you've got the time I would get this on Flicker under some title like "Spot the Elephant."

Shows how little I have been reading the forum, I have missed out on some very interesting stuff here. The spinning lady was cool, I perceived it as initially as spinning clockwise, though with a little brain power I could turn her the other way. Not easily done, but could do it. Cool.
