Llandudno FC

Just read in the weekly that Llandudno FC are building extra seats behind the goal, which will take the capacity to 1013 seats!!

The obvious question is why on earth would they do that

Anyone who has seen Conwy United's ground literally falling to pieces would know that this is a massive waste of time and money - Llandudno are stuck to playing in the mickey mouse Welsh league, the highest they can ever get is one league up in the Welsh premier.
They are never in a month of Sundays going to get anywhere near to filling the majority of those seats.

Why would a club with an average attendance of around 100 people want a thousand seats?

I wonder if they are planning a multi purpose, rugby/football ground?

I hope to God they're planning something anyway as otherwise it's a completely barmy idea :rage:

There is rumor going round, that the lease for the Llandudno Rugby clubs field to coming to an end. With the closures planned for the schools in town, they are planning to build a super school on the land. I wonder if Llandudno Rugby Club are going to ground share with the football club?

Wouldn't be a bad idea - it woud be great if they got a better Rugby team theyd probably get big crowds.
