How are they simple?   Amazingly simple even?   I think it was very slick, and very entertaining.

It's a combination of very simple sleight of hand allied to a nice little programme he has running.  And it's very slick and entertaining, I agree. That's what makes it so interesting.  He's taken stuff that's virtually beginner's magic and presented it superbly.

A CAR SALESMAN'S NIGHTMARE!

She will not buy a new car until she has worn her old one out and it is still in new condition - after all it is only 84 years old (the car that is, oh the lady... she’s101!!!).

Take notice in the video that she lays a shop rag on the running board to step onto when she gets in the car.  After she is in the car, she leans all the way down to the running board to get the rag.  She is in great physical and mental shape for her age.  The car is not bad either!

I found myself applauding those people, and the little May Queen,  sadly all dead.... long dead in fact!

I also mused over some of the businesses, and how times have changed... I think 'Brimsted Pianos' must have been a fantastic business, in a time when every house (of any standing) had at least one piano.

I really enjoyed that film, and I must get myself a piano.

I bought a Yamaha keyboard some time ago, with the best of intentions in learning how to play it. Sadly, following a brief period of enthusiasm, it's currently gathering dust in a corner of the house.
