Until now, I had not realised that Russians are made of rubber. Also, there seems to be a strong for NOT wearing a seatbelt in Russia as you never know when you might need to make a quick exit.

There are a lot of videos like this on You Tube, they came to light after so many dashboard cameras caught sight of that meteorite last year. Everyone was wondering why Russian cars had them and the truth came out once you started making a few enquiries. As well as the manic driving there are a lot of people deliberately walking out in front of cars (I kid you not) for financial gain which has lead to the unbelievable sight of someone being knocked over and then as they are getting back to their feet the driver has got out and 'lamped them' putting them back on their backside again!
I can't find the one where the driver hits back but this video shows some of the incidents
