Did you notice the 'bumping boats' in the 1920's film? They were the ones that Gwynant mentioned on a recent post. I remember spending Saturday afternoons at the Lido during the summer when I was a youngster. I seem to remember the water was salt from the sea and it was always bleedin' freezing, it was quite a big pool with three or four diving boards, no health and safety then, we used to throw ourselves off the top board, great fun.

I was mesmerised by that.... seen a similar thing before, but not the finale, where you can see how integral the feather is to the delicate construction.
