I would, but you've moved and not left a forwarding address!

We need a reasonably-priced local electrican to call round to C-y-D and simply replace a broken light switch and mend a double wall socket.

Any recommendations?

Bri,  Andy Boyle Electrical was recommended to me by Dave R and Brian Thomas.

He and his boys did a great job for me, and very reasonable too.

Up to you Bri,  but I have had Andy or one of his lads back for smaller jobs such as the odd light fitting, a security light etc.

I think he does all types of jobs, big or small, but as I say it's up to you.

That's fine then, Fester.

Do you still have his contact details as I can only find John Boyle Electrical?

Thank you DaveR and Fester.

Any of the lads who work for him, if sent, will do you a good job.

Firstly my apologies for anyone within a couple of miles of the Orme(it felt that loud anyway from inside the house)  who might have been disturbed by my security alarm blurring away intermittently but extremely loudly from about 5 am this morning. Strobe Security from Colwyn Bay came and sorted me out today. They arrived on time and did a magnificent job of diagnosing and rectifying the problem.

it would have been from the house with all the lights on and the man seen wandering round the house and garden shouting "how the **** do you turn this off".

Dear all,  when I had work done on my house a couple of years ago, I had a loft-hatch and ladders fitted, you know those fold away type.    But at the time, it was the builder who fitted them, and that cowboy has long since been run out of town.

My neighbour needs such a loft hatch doing now, and I wondered if anyone knows who would do such a thing.
General Builder perhaps? (If so I'll contact Dean Seager),  A roofer maybe?  Or would it be a joiner?

I'm not sure, any suggestions are welcome, and I will let her know.

It's a job for a joiner as joists will need cutting etc
