A POLITICAL row erupted last night over an inflation-busting 8.3% pay hike for Assembly Members, taking a basic backbencher’s salary to £50,692 a year.

The total AMs’ wage bill for 60 members, including enhanced salaries for ministers, committee chairmen and other office holders, will increase by £260,000 this year to £5.1m, and by £500,000 next year.
Are these members worth this amount? I don’t thinks so just a bunch of scroungers no better that benefit cheats
