Llanrhos's Maes Dolau Caravan Park marks 75th anniversary

Maes Dolau Caravan Park, in Llanrhos, is marking the milestone with a series of events, some involving the owners of the 100 holiday caravans in its grounds.

They will include fundraising activities for Manchester's Christie Hospital which has been adopted by Maes Dolau as its 2025 charity of the year.

The park was founded in 1950 and taken on in 1994 by former poultry farmer Rikki Proffitt and his wife Helen whose daughter Kelly today runs the business.

Developers agree to pay £150,000 after River Alyn tributary polluted
Bellway Homes Ltd and Anwyl Construction Ltd caused several silt pollution incidents between 2022 and 2024

Could this be the same Anwyl Construction that demolished the Penmorfa Hotel in Llandudno and then abandoned it making it looks like an eyesore.     Karma does come around sometimes
