Jumping aboard Ludo's time machine again and journeying back through the swirling mists of time to 2008....
I took this photo of RNLB 'Andy Pearce' as it reminded me of a particular memory from my childhood. When I was a nipper, my Mum took me to see the dedication launch of the Lilly Wainwright - an impressive experience, the memory of which has stayed with me throughout my life. I was pleasantly surprised to find a detailed account of this event on the Llandudno Lifeboat website - there is even a photo of the crowds present on the day, and I am in that photograph for sure!
