Having now aquainted myself with the "Rules" of the game, it would seem that I am n ot the only one at fault, if indeed "at fault" I am.   

However I would tend to disagree with you, and present my evidence as follows:.

The charge seems to be that I have placed the word "PORTUGAL" as a follow on from the word "CHRISTMAS".

Sir,  It is my submission that "CHRISTMAS" is a geographical location in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and is an Island.

My defence is that "PORTUGAL" is also a geographical location at the southern end of the Continent of Europe and forms part of the Iberian Penisular.

Accordingly you will immediuately perceive that I have indeed followed the RULES and your admonishment is therefore unwarranted and uncalled for.  I trust the Charge will be dropped forthwith and that my reputation will be left intact.

Yorkie: the rule is that the next word comes from the last word or part of it. There is no way that the word Portugal can come from the word or part of "Christmas".

What you are suggesting is the way things work on the topic Fun for all.
