1/2 page advert , page 21 in this week's Pioneer.

We have stayed there dozens of times before we lived here, and it was just an hotel then.---- Long time ago !

Hey Yorkie.... £2.45 for a cappuccino didn't faze you in Caffe Nero when I met you recently!   ;) ;)

But, I take your point....

Didn't cost me a fortune in diesel to get to Caffe Nero!   :D

And at CN you never know who you might see in there!     ;)
It's worth the money just to watch those people toting cameras!    :o

Did I mention any names?  Sorry DaveR, never having knowingly met, I wouldn't know you from Adam even if we were standing next to each other.    Lots of tourists carry cameras!   ;)

Of course, you meant tourists with cameras.  ;) I've never seen you in Caffe Nero though, to be fair.

Went once, coffee too expensive for us pensioners.   We like Upstairs at Clare's and many other places that we have both mentioned in the past.  We do miss 101 with Pedro!  Recently visited Tides for a cappuccino and it was awful.   Asked the girl how she made it - filter coffee and hot milk!   No Espresso machine there!   :o

Real blast from the 3 towns past for me today. A lovely visit from Brumbob and his family. I am sure many ofy ou will remember him from times past on the forum. Unfortunately, and despite all my warnings, they were well and truly caught in the thunderstorm.
About an hour later they made a second attempt but after about half a dozen holes had to give up because it was too hot. I'm not kidding. However they left with much handshaking and asking to be remembered to you all.   Mike

Ahh, but you both might well have been in the same place at the same time.... and not known it!

Yes Mike... I was pleasantly surprised to meet Brumbob, (and the delightful Mrs BrumBob) on the pier the other day.

They are both well, and its been at least a year since I last saw them.

I think I've mentioned before that I've been sat across the table from Yorkie and his good wife on more than one occasion. Not in Caffe Nero, though.

Well next time make your self known!   ZXZ

I'm sure I could stretch my pension to buy you a coffee!    ;)

No one seems to read the Olympics thread... so I will post this disastrous German diver video here..

Its so funny, it reminds me of myself on holiday, with a couple of beers inside me...  Z**
