But when I have raised the issue of inflation on here in the past, I have been told I am imagining it!  ???

Not here you weren't..

Not referring to that Ian.

Previous to that I started a thread called 'Inflation' in which I outlined the things I had seen which led me to conclude that the TRUE inflation rate was much higher than the Govt official figure.

The overwhelming consensus from members was that it was not the case.  So I gave up.

Happy Easter to you all  :-*

I had a lovely surprise when I got home from work last night.  Gezzy had bought me a big bunch of flowers, two bars of my favourite chocolate and a bottle of wine (hehe I lie it was Lambrini I'm afraid I don't like wine....god I'm cheap) "ah that's lovely" I said "what's with all the fuss Darlin'?"  "I knew it" he said "you've forgotten haven't you" he said glancing towards the side board....there propped up on the side was a card......yep a card......an anniversary card  :o !!  Nine years today we've been married and only once maybe twice in that time have I remembered on time

I'm going to take him for a meal in the Castle Hotel tomorrow night....maybe that will stop him sulking  ;)
