Ive just had this PM from a new member:

"We're organising The Conwy Festival of Youth which is scheduled for the Diamond Jubilee Weekend in June and we are promoting and fundraising for it.

We have permission to run a 'Truck Pull' along Llandudno Promenade on Easter Sunday.  We originally planned to pull a Fire Engine but have since discovered that they are all automatic vehicles now and are unsuitable.

Could you let me have contact details for someone running the Vehicle Rally during the Extravaganza so that we can try to source a suitably big vehicle which will attract attention on the day?

We will be towing it with teams of Army, Sea and Air Cadets with Young Firefighters and possibly others..."

Can anyone suggest who would be the best person to contact?

How about using the vintage coach used to take the tours round Marine Drive?

Won't it be busy doing tours?

I don't know how long these bus-pulls take but if they could fit it in it would be a good free advert for them if they could manage it.
