Thanks Fester---you know me well !

Thanks for the welcome Nemesis.
I see that I will be debating with someone who both has to adopt a 'hard' name AND feels the need to put 'Mad, Bad and Dangerous to know' as a signature.
On top of this a knowing one-liner to a colleague implying how Mad , Bad etc...

I've scoured the net looking fot 'Imhardyouknow' smilies but alas can't spot any yet.

I'll keep looking for you though   $good$

Not only a woman, but a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. :o

Sorry Nemesis
:-[ and  :o at my rude behaviour. Will not happen again.

What about Trojan?

Oh no, :o  :o  :o  :o,...Yorkie!!!!!?

This reminds me of way back in my youth when I woke up after a bender moaning and groaning when what I did and what I said started coming back.

Something tells me that the next 'Forum Booze Up' will be very interesting... ZXZ

..and why do I think that Roumanian might be washing his hair that night, and can't make it ?

What makes you think I wouldn't make an appearance?  Even though I'm an avid teetotaller since an extremely bad experience in my 20s and think that going on 5hour + binges is neither big nor clever (and especially bragging about it  ;) ) I still do darken the doors of the occasional dens of iniquity. I may well trundle along. I'd soon spot you all. I'd just look for the table with the balding rocker, the leather clad dish with her bullwhip which had been supplied by the guy next to her  in the white flowing robe with the embers of a burnt cross smouldering in the ashtray in front of him and the smoke of which was giving problems to the dear little ole great grannie sat next him. But even if it wasn't so described I'd know you all ..cos I know Ian who would be sat by the guy with the light meter snapping everything in sight!

By the way I'm gobsmacked you didn't think of the Drive and the Crescent  ;D

Phooooo Love it  _))* Just ask those who have met me !
I'm usually there, albeit teetotal, but can argue with the best of them ! But--- I make exceedingly good cakes--- and have a dreadful sense of humour.
Nemesis is the Godess of Revenge by the way and Mad , Bad  and Dangerous to know was Lady Caroline Lamb's description of Lord Byron. He was a b****r as well !

Yes, I appreciate that Nemesis. That was merely my efforts at being contrary and geared to get you going.

I suppose at the next meeting there will be another table in the corner occupied by a pensioner staring sadly at  his little doggie muttering how he wished he hadn't been so impulsive in deleting his account. He'd be accompanied by a Midlander enjoying his Kipper Tie.

Don't think that pensioner has a doggie so I'll bring mine instead!
Hugo could also bring his-- and Bellringer.

Probably not the best start I suppose, dissing the 'national treasure'  ;D

Never having come across the word "dissing" before, probably because I am not so well educated, I looked it up and found:

Term used by older, ass-hat salesmen in an attempt to seem younger and/or cooler than they really are. It should be noted that it rarely, if ever, works.  Slang chiefly US to treat someone with contempt.

Hope this doesn't describe you Roumanian!   ;D

It's an abbreviation of disrespect. Quite popular in the US among young macho males, as it seems to be a violation of their personal code of ethics.

Example - "That Mother F***** just dissed me homie"

ass-hat salesmen
How does one buy an 'ass hat' and what would it be used for? Is it a Yorkshire expression, maybe?  8)
