Dave/Ian Advice please! Re Site.
« on: November 19, 2012, 08:00:55 pm »
I have the forum site set as one of my home pages. When I'm on the net, on any website, I keep getting a message re the forum page saying "an active script has stopped working" and do I want to continue or end the script. It also throws me off the website I'm on and onto the forum site. Whether I click "continue" or "end script" doesn't seem to make any difference, message just goes away and I can continue browsing. Should I be worried? Can you explain it for me? Sorry to post on forum but can't PM and don't now your email addresses.
Thanks.

Just quit the script.  I get it too, but I ignore it.  It doesn't 'throw you off' your current site, however;  what it does is simply make the forum page the foremost one, so you can attend to the message it's presenting.  I suspect the script is a facebook addon script, but Dave might know more.

I thought I'd disabled all the Facebook integration, as it wasnt working properly. Will have another look.

EDIT: Should be fixed now.

Thanks Dave and Ian, hopefully it will be ok now, as long as it's nothing to worry about. Ian was right, it doesn't actually throw me off the page, just brings forum page to front. Thanks again!
