Plas Mawr history
« on: July 10, 2012, 11:42:28 pm »
Hi,

I am working at Plas Mawr, and am conducting research into the history of the house after Robert Wynne, with special interest in the times it was a tenement. It was tenemented prior to the census starting and so I am doing a lot online and trying to get time to get to the archives in Llandudno.  I have traced quite a few families so far, and its so very interesting. I was wondering if any of you had any  stories about the house and its occupants which may help with the research. Also if you know anything at all about the other functions of the house, ie the school, or the courthouse.  I would be so very grateful for anything you may have. Also if you think that you may have had relatives in the house, please pm me and I will check it out for you.

I have noticed how friendly and helpful this forum is and so I hope someone can help.

Thanks

Jo
