if they moved the travel agents into the old  empty Bank shop then they could also knock through and make it more attractive again.

After a complaint to them, lasting a number of weeks, it appears that all their complaints are dealt with from Capetown in South Africa ! No wonder the place is going down the nick !!!

I thought it was just my bad luck. When I went in a week or so ago at about 5.30pm the place was trashed and most things I went in for were missing.
When I got home I noticed that the managers name had changed from a man's to a woman's so maybe she is new to the job.
Such a shame because I thought their fruit and veg was unbeatable for quality and price in the area previously.

No. The place is like that at 8.30am. I went on Wednesday at that time and the place was a shambles, piles of stuff and trollies all over the place. I won't touch their meat with a bargepole as it seems to come from everywhere but Britain, so now I am an Aldi covert for that. Not as yet had meat from there which hasn't been good and it is British. My grumble with Aldi are the non-food items which seem to resemble a jumble sale. Mind you at least they aren't all over the floor !
Nowhere nowadays seems to have fruit and veg which keeps, so I pick and choose !

I doubt if any new manager of a store the size of Asda, Llandudno is new to the job. In the sense that they will have been well and truly weaned into it through previous positions as manager of smaller stores. It really is a tremendous operation. I only realised how big and complex it is when a did a fixture audit for an outside contractor 18 months ago. It really was an eye opener.

Mike, that might have been the case in the past, but now if you speak to any long term employee of Asda, things have changed.   They are entirely demoralised and the place is becoming a badly managed shambles.  (Their words not mine)

No one seems to have a good word about the place including the work force.

Prices seem to be recently going up and quality down.

We've moved to Aldi and now only use Wallmart when we have no other choice  &shake&

I'm the same, only use Asda if I've no other choice.
Service and quality are poor and out stock items are unacceptable. A manager told me it was down to staff reductions and staff being move on to home shopping.

It's no wonder there losing so much business.

They needn't make as many staff reductions if they got rid of the dreaded self service tills!

Nemesis, don't you like self service tills? Knowing you I am surprised. I think they are great. I always use them. Maybe our different opinions is down to the number of items. Living by myself with not much fridge space I tend to buy a small number of items in a maybe every three/ four days.

No Mike........it isn't possible to get a weekly shop through on one. It would be Ok if I was only shopping for myself, but sometimes the volume outweighs the space. Not every week, but a pack of 24 toilet rolls fills up all the space ! :o

Do they not have any of the conveyor belt self-service tills at that Asda? Still with fruit & veg they are a nightmare to find the right buttons to press!

Nemesis I appreciate your point. But the self service help by keeping the likes of me out of the way of the larger filled trollies
