Llandudno Museum Friends Group are meeting on Wednesday 28th March at 7:00pm at Llandudno Museum.
We are a relatively new group, and we meet informally once a month at Llandudno museum to discuss and arrange various museum related activities which are organised and carried out by the Friends group.
Activities include fundraising, developing temporary exhibitions, arranging visits to other museums, local heritage conservation, local history research and more.
Friends of the museum gain free admission to the museum and temporary exhibitions. At the March meeting you can see the latest temporary exhibition by the Great Orme Exploration Society.
We are actively seeking new members to join the Friends group as well as new ideas to promote the cultural and natural heritage of Llandudno. Contemporary and creative ideas welcome and supported!
If you are a community group and would like to get involved with the museum, please send a representative along. Perhaps you would like to have a temporary exhibition? Set up a local history or natural history project?
What does the local community want from their town museum?
Meetings usually last about 1-2hrs.
