It was a lucky find but it makes you wonder just how many drugs are getting into the UK      I've attached a link about another drugs find on the West Wales coast a short time ago

It was a bit disturbing to read this headline in the Daily Post yesterday:-
Secret symbols used by burglars spook residents in North Wales town
The chalk markings left outside houses has been associated with break-ins and dog thefts

This prompted me to tell a story about an accountant I had some dealings with through my job. He liked a chat and said that he had a client who was a professional burglar. Out of interest he asked him what made him/them decide which house to break into. The reply was that they didn't go into anywhere blind. They obtained information from people in insurance companies so they knew what valuable contents were in particular properties. It seems he/they paid people in insurance companies for information.

Hi Hugo, Do you recall me telling you about Fly and I carrying out a search in the Glen Orchy area for a missing cyclist a few years back.

The Twin brothers responsible for his death are at last on trial and case resumes today Friday. Hard to believe anyone could be so wicked and I am pleased they have been caught. They were both off the Auch Estate and in the past gamekeepers on that estate had been caught putting out poisoned bate to kill raptors. I was always reluctant to go training with search dogs in that area not being sure what the dog would pick up.

Hi Mull,   I remember you telling me about the search that you were doing and you said then that you suspected that the farmers were responsible for the death of the cyclist.   There are some wicked people about but that incident was pure evil so they deserve to be severely punished.
You certainly did the right thing keeping Fly away from the estate and I hope that no other dogs were affected by the poison bait

Murder Map reveals the unsolved cases that still haunt North Wales
There are 1,000 cold case murders which cover every part of Britain, yet to be solved

It's so sad when you hear of such cases as the families of the missing people never get justice or closure on the matter.

I just wanted to add on a bit to the story of Treveline Evans as Tellytubby and I had a walk in Prestatyn on the 18th May 2022 and high on a hillside above the town we stopped for a rest in the ruins of an old miner's cottage.       On the bench was a plaque engraved with a message about Mrs Evans and it alleged that her body was buried beneath a building on the Rhuddlan Golf Club.     Apparently the anonymous writer had photographed the body and informed the Police.   The Police didn't investigate the report until a few days later and by then the body had gone,
Her husband had been arrested but then aquitted of her murder and he has since died.
Her disappearance may forever remain a mystery which is sad for her family and friends

£20,000 offered in search for parents of three abandoned babies

I've only just read this story and it is truly heart breaking.   Three babies have been abandoned by the same biological parents.   I hope that the full use of DNA  will be used to track the parents down so that the parents can then be held accountable for their actions and also to prevent them from doing something similar ever again

Benefit cheats could be stripped of driving licences
Convicted benefits cheats who fail to pay back the taxpayer could be stripped of their driving licences, under government plans to crack down on fraud.

Those who repeatedly cheat the system and have debts of £1,000 or more could be punished with a driving ban of up to two years.

Fraud suspect, 61, 'used wigs and disguises' to take citizenship tests for others, Home Office says
False documents and "an array of wigs" the woman was accused of using in the scheme were seized at an address in north London when she was arrested.
A similar scam operated with driving tests when a qualified driver took the test instead of the learner driver.       It also happened in job interviews when a person attended the interview who was not the applicant.    If the person was successful at the interview then the real applicant came in to do the job.  All the applicants that I know about have been immigrants

Foreign criminals in Welsh jails to be deported more swiftly in crackdown                   ???
'It cannot be right for British taxpayers to foot the bill for jailing foreign criminals who have brought misery to our communities' - minister

Foreign criminals currently in English and Welsh prisons will be deported quicker with the deployment of a new immigration crack squad, the Government has announced.

It's just hot air and I won't believe it until it happens.       If it does happen then they should also consider the foreign criminals who are in the UK  but not in prison and get rid of them too

Woman caused over £6k in damage to Bangor University building using spray paint
The incident happened last November

Magistrates gave her a 12-month conditional discharge and she was told to pay £700 compensation.     Another case of the Law being an Ass.    She creates over £6K  in damages and only has to pay back £700.00

Huge class C drugs dump at North Wales beauty spot causes anger and alarm
Volunteers cleared up 60 boxes amid concerns their contents could explode and cause a fire

Concerned volunteers who cleared fly-tipped rubbish from a Conwy beauty spot were shocked to discover it was actually a huge haul of a Class C drug. More than 30 commercial grade cannisters of nitrous oxide were collected on the Sychnant Pass.

The clear-up was organised by the Carneddau Mountain Pony Society with help from members of the local community. Although the dumped rubbish had been reported to Conwy Council, they took matters into their own hands amid concerns it might pose a risk to ponies and wildlife.

Border officers saw a couple behaving oddly with a baby - and uncovered a mystery

Credit where credit's due so full marks to the Border Force officers who tackled these criminals.   It's a sad story but these criminals got what they deserved and it's good to know that they will be deported after they serve their jail sentence.
It was the start of a mystery that remains unsolved - the little girl's true identity is still not fully known.

What we do know is the child is not related to any of the adults. The girl, who we are calling Lucy, seems to have been born in rural Nigeria in September 2022, and given to an orphanage when she was just three days old.

The couple who carried her to the UK, Ossai and Olasanoye, pleaded guilty to immigration offences and were sentenced to 18 months in prison followed by deportation.
