Alexander-Arnold leaves as modern Liverpool great - but fans will feel hurt

Trent Alexander-Arnold's announcement that he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season confirmed what had seemed an inevitability for months.

And even though his next destination was not mentioned in his emotional farewell video, it is an open secret that he will join his friend and England colleague Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.
He's a good young player and any team would miss him but good luck to him with a new club and a new language to learn

Stevie. G would have signed for Chelsea if the scouse mafia hadn’t stopped him.  Some of these Liverpool fans slating Trent. Good on him he could have been comfortable at Liverpool but going for a new challenge.

Real Madrid are a great club but leaving the best club in the UK will be a challenge for him and I hope he does well over there.   Real used to insist on all their team speaking Spanish so I hope that Scouse is not his only language.
Mind you Beckham went there and I don't know if he ever spoke Spanish

Real seek to sign Alexander-Arnold for Club World Cup

The England defender has confirmed he will leave Liverpool when his contract expires this summer and the 26-year-old is expected to join the Spanish club as a free agent.

Alexander-Arnold's contract with Liverpool expires on 30 June but the Club World Cup begins 16 days earlier.

Amorim admits he may have to leave if poor form continues

United's appalling finish hit another low note at Old Trafford as they lost 2-0 to a West Ham side that had failed to win any of their previous eight games.

As well as questioning his own future, Amorim said: "We are losing the feeling that we are a massive club and it's the end of the world to lose a game at home.
He has also said that this is the worst ever United team and he is right.     They are rubbish and he is being honest but it can't inspire confidence in his team to hear him saying that

Goodison Park to become home of Everton's women
Goodison Park is to become the home of Everton's women after the club scrapped plans to demolish the 132-year-old stadium.

The Blues will move to their new 53,000-seater arena at Bramley-Moore Dock this summer.

During construction of the new facility on the Liverpool waterfront, Everton's previous ownership group announced plans for an £82m post-demolition renovation project at the Goodison site, which was set to include housing, a care home, retail units and a park.

The end of an era at Goodison Park but the good news is that the ground is not being demolished as originally intended but will now be the home of the Everton  Ladies football team
Good luck to the Toffees at their new ground at Bramley Moore Dock

                                                FA  Cup Final
Crystal Palace  1    Man City  0

'Maybe the thought of taking a penalty at Wembley was too muc but it was a good game  to watch and well done to Crystal Palace.    It's quite refreshing to see the underdogs winning for a change

I  hope that you have a great day out at Goodison today Norman and that your team ends an era with a good win against the Saints.    I've just seen a short clip on BBC 2 about Everton over the years and it was nice to watch

I'm so pleased that you had a great day today and the win was a bonus too. You'll have many nice memories that will stay with you for ever

I've copied this for you from Google
78,299
Goodison Park has hosted more top-flight games than any other stadium in England. The record attendance at Goodison Park is 78,299 for a game against Liverpool on September 18, 1948.
