Thanks Hugo & Norman, wish I could have been there but a long way to go for one day and no ticket.

Glad I made it for the Ipswich game and remembering all the pals I had stood on the terraces with over the years, some no longer with us.
Looking forward to going to Bramley More next season and seeing youngest son Gareth 's stone in the Everton Way, He would have loved to be there yesterday. COYB.

Spurs and Man Utd meet in worst-form European final
Never in the history of European competition has a final been played between two teams so out of form.

The winners of Wednesday's Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham in Bilbao could be the lowest league finishers ever to win a major European trophy.

And they will certainly become the lowest team to ever qualify for the European Cup or Champions League.

United sit in 16th place in the Premier League, with Spurs 17th - and a combined 39 league defeats.

The only league games either have won since 2 February have been against sides who were relegated - or each other

Hi Mull. We got there just before  10. It was packed around the streets before that. My grandson had his hood up didn’t like the smoke. 😂.    The police have estimated well over 500 k.   It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves, we did ask a few Southampton fans if they wanted to sell their tickets.   No they wanted to savour it day as well.  4 am start for them.   The atmosphere in the ground was brilliant.  And after the game all the ex players and music.    We stayed behind for a while just to look around and take our memories in.  Now we take our memories onto our new home. We went to the 2 nd event pics don’t do it justice can’t wait for next season.   Hope you can make a few games and you will love the new ground.

That was the worst game I’ve watched two shocking teams.

Salah wins Premier League player of season award

It is the second time the 32-year-old Egyptian has won the award, which is decided after votes from the public are combined with those from a panel of football experts, having also claimed it in the 2017-18 campaign.

Salah, who led the Reds to the Premier League title this season, beat off the challenge from team-mates Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch, who was named young player of the season.

Real Madrid pay Liverpool to sign Alexander-Arnold early
Trent Alexander-Arnold will become a Real Madrid player on Sunday, 1 June after Liverpool accepted a fee to release the defender early from his contract.

Sources at Liverpool have indicated that the fee is 10m euros (£8.4m), which Real have made as a single, up-front payment. However, sources at the Spanish club have suggested they have paid a lower amount.
Earlier this month he said he had decided to leave to experience a "new challenge" and to push himself "personally and professionally".
He has won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, Fifa Club World Cup, Uefa Super Cup, FA Cup and League Cup with the Reds.

New-look PSG make history on emotional night for Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique wept tears of joy and emotion as Paris St-Germain delivered the performance of a lifetime to win the Champions League for the first time on a remarkable night in Munich.

And, as PSG outclassed Inter Milan for a historic 5-0 victory, brilliant teenager Desire Doue confirmed his status as one half of a new duo of young superstars - alongside Barcelona's Lamine Yamal - who have the genius to dominate the game for years to come.
