There's only one continent in the world that Hippo's are native to.  ;D

Speaking of being native, this bunch showed up on the river bank.

I don't know what was more scary, the Hippo's or them.  :-X

(Apologies for the blurry photo, but the helmsman had just opened up the Mercury outboard to full throttle)

Okay, I have looked that up on google and educated myself.
What about some travellers tales from your trip for us to read. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be interested.
By the way, did you take Oscar with you, as he disappeared around the same time, or are you one and the same?

I don't believe there was an Oscar in our party.  ^^^^

After hours navigating the dangerous river, we were running short on supplies and I began to doze-off. When I awoke, I was relieved to see that the boat had pulled alongside a small jetty.........
