As a result of our eldest daugher moving abroad, we have a single two-drawer divan bed and headboard in good condition available free of charge, providing the new owner is prepared to collect from C-y-D.

You could contact Conwy Furniture Reclaim who will probably take it off your hands.

Thanks, Yorkie, but I doubt if they or any other charity will be prepared to 'take it off our hands' because it includes a matress, even though it comes from a very good home.

Have you tried Conwy Freegle (the old Freecycle). People are always looking for beds on there.

Thanks, Sara, but in the end I took Yorkie’s advice and phoned CFR who are coming on Friday.

If CFR don’t take accept the mattress then I shall drop it off at the recycling centre in Mochdre later in the day.

Or dump it on the waste ground between Builder St & the station. There's a few people there who could use it.
