Hugo problem is/ was not a county councillor for the last so many years have been from Llandudno,  the councillors and residents down there can?t see they did wrong,    No no it?s not down to the work they did,  umm how come it didn?t happen before. One resident on a forum told me I didn?t know what I was talking about,  ( thought I wasn?t from the area ). I came back with our history penmorfacottages etc, soon shut her up,  it?s the same on north shore didn?t listen to the locals for better options. And now they wonder why welsh gov won?t give money 😡

Live stream North Shore web cam....Llandudno North Parade from The Copper Mill Restaurant @ Min y Don - 01492 876511

We are Teresa & Rheinallt, the owners / custodians of Min y Don. Our webcam shares the view from our restaurant  and accommodation businesses of the spectacular Llandudno North Shore, from the entrance of the Victorian Pier to our west (left of cam), to the Little Orme to our east (directly in centre of cam).  The camera runs 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and we do our utmost to keep "up-time" as high as possible.  Wherever necessary, we endeavour to carry out essential system maintenance to overnight periods to reduce down-time during peak viewing hours.

A former Llandudno NHS clinic will be converted into a two-storey car sales showroom after developers were given the green light at a planning meeting ? despite objections from a government body. Councillors at the Conwy County Council planning committee meeting gave Mostyn Estates Ltd permission to convert the former Llandudno medical clinic on Argyll Road into a Honda and Kia showroom.

Buying The Grand, pedestrianisation and floating restaurants on Llandudno regeneration plan list
Mace was commissioned by Conwy County Borough Council to deliver a 10 Year Regeneration Plan

North Wales Live has seen the documents which are being discussed by stakeholders in a major consultation. The total cost of all the interventions proposed would be nearly ?66m.

But the plan states that by improving the offer of the town, through providing more for people to do, there is potential to move Llandudno from a low growth scenario (?360m GVA) to a high growth scenario (?702m GVA) by 2045.

There are more than 70 ideas. These include spending ?10m on buying and revamping The Grand Hotel, which is owned by Britannia and has a poor reputation but a key position on the seafront. There are also options to potentially pedestrianise parts of Mostyn Street or create a one-way system. Floating restaurants beside the pier is another idea.

A list of some of the major ideas ........... https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/buying-grand-pedestrianisation-floating-restaurants-25244523?IYA-reg=49560bcd-5a9c-47f0-8fc5-ba2e71710589

Mobile giant explains why phone service so bad in Llandudno right now
Customers of the Three network have been complaining of poor service in the seaside town in recent weeks

They said they had identified an issue with one of their network sites in Llandudno. This was seeing customers connected to other sites in the area - resulting in slower services. They said they were working to resolve the problem but could not provide a date for when it would be fixed.

'Iconic' Llandudno gallery building built for Lady Mostyn placed up for sale
The freehold for the 120 year old building is available but future of the gallery is secure

Now the building has been placed up for sale with estate agent Dafydd Hardy. It has a price tag of ?220,000. The gallery is retained on a long lease so the sale does not affect its future. It includes several apartments and the former Post Office as well - now Geek Retreat. The building on sale does not include the shop and cafe space.

This property should be under Eyesores................

An old social club in Llandudno not far from the town's West Shore Beach is looking for an owner to give it a new lease of life. West Shore Social Club on Bryniau Road is currently empty and has not been used since it closed down some time ago.

It is located in a prominent part of the town, near the golf club and on a busy highway to and from Deganwy. But despite its prime location, the building is unused and casts a gloomy shadow at the moment as it awaits a new owner to restore it to its former glory.

On sale for offers over ?300,000, the property includes the main club house and associated buildings and the surrounding car park which altogether extends to around 1,088 sqm. The sale is being handled by Jones Peckover who say that the site is considered suitable for a wide range of alternative uses, including residential, commercial and leisure.

Feral Llandudno goats get special group to manage them after invading town in Covid lockdown
The goats made international news but some residents were unhappy that their gardens were being destroyed

Council officers said the group would be a cabinet member working group as part of both a short-term and long-term plan managing the goats. The group will also consult Natural Resources Wales, the RSPCA, Llandudno Town Council, and interested local members
