Yes Hugo, it was St Anne's. The Crescent also used to house the library which was in the most gorgeous pale blue and white room with Adam plasterwork.
The building eventually became in the ownership of the council and was in a poor state. There were all sorts of attempts to get grants etc and while all this was going on the owners were made to spend money on keeping it watertight.
I think the plans were eventually approved to turn it into a hotel again and I thought this work was ongoing but in DaveR's photo there doesn't seem much sign of it.

The finance is finally in place for work to start on converting the Crescent into a 5 Star Hotel with Thermal Spa and separate Public Spa. The work will cost £32m. Preliminary work has already started at the rear of the building.

View from my apartment in Spinola Bay, Malta. Mixed weather, but warmer than Rhos on Sea.

Looks great weather that day Neil. How lovely to be right by the water like that.
Here's my room with a view from last week. The crochet production moved to the mountains!

Took this from one of my windows a minute ago.   What a difference?

No, I did not take this but I could not resist sharing it.

Isn't this an amazing shot?

Afraid not, Ian.

I simply saw it on twitter a few days ago.

Perhaps, Yorkie can help you as he always seems to be able to find answers to difficult photo quizzes.
