WIth some people posting 3 or 4 pictures with each post this is bound to happen.  Less pictures will give all an opportunity.  Maybe a limit of 2 per post?     D)

The search function is niggling me again...

I know that, somewhere, there is (or was) a thread called Funny True Stories.

I wanted to post there, but I looked for it in the appropriate topics, and couldn't find it anywhere.
Then I tried all combinations of those 3 words.    It wouldn't pop up at all.

I go to the Search Box (top right of screen). I enter in 'funny true stories'. The first result that comes up is the Funny True Stories thread.  :roll:

Yes...so do I ...NOW.

When I did exactly the same thing last night, the thread was not present... but other articles involving the three words did.

No matter, I don't seem to have a lot of luck with the search facility.  ...thanks Dave / Ian / Ang.

Actually... I have spoken (in person) with other Forum members today, who have very similar problems with the search facility.

It stems from not knowing where a certain thread is, checking the list in a logical manner... then giving up and trying search.

I hope that these 'other' members may emerge from the shadows and back me up!

I wonder who that was?  :laugh: I've often thought I'll post about a certain subject but can't be sure which thread to put it in ???  Also I sometimes try to find something that I've seen and it's moved, with so many overlapping threads we seem to be spoilt for choice sometimes  :laugh:

Just a little example of that....one thread called 'dreadful jokes',  and another called 'jokes-dreadful'

Last time I looked, there were two threads about Rhos on Sea that were confusingly similar too.

It might just be me but it looks very self explanatory - one is for current stories/issues, one is for posting old photos, memories etc?

Can you give me an example of where the search facility is not working correctly?
