How is any of that any different to making the UK a part of the European Union?    There was no referendum or consultation of the people.

Perhaps we could send E-Thug back in time to have a word?

Do we have the ability to send someone back in time?  Wow I knew this Forum's software was good... but not THAT good.

Anyway, E-thug doesn't appear on here, sometimes I wish he did.... he amuses me on Oscar, (not sure if he appears elsewhere),   but he seems to have met his match with the evil Ted the Bear... Funnee stuff, to distract me from the boring and meaningless local politics.

You see we can campaign for noble and worthy causes on here, and STILL have some fun...

But who gave him the authority to do that?

That is exactly why I oppose any form of monarchy.  Kings in that era neither needed nor sought permission from their vassals, many of whom would have been our forbears. Their only allegiance was to themselves and the prosecution of their offpring's claim to the throne.   To achieve that, they had to placate those capable of mounting a challenge to them militarily, and possibly acquire foreign allies.  But asking the people? Unheard of.

Now, we celebrate the probably very temporary marriage between the latest parasitic progeny of that bloodline, ad those who cast doubt are told they're spoiling everyone's fun,  being miserable or, in the case of the Bishop who voiced something a lot of folk were thinking, sacked. And we're supposed to be a democracy.

Hello Guys, and Gals,  Wouldn't it be a good idea to put a link to the Llandudno Web camera?

Just found it, whilst looking at other places - might you, it was dark while you were all sleeping.  dontheturner

Yes, it is Trojan, but if accessed via a web cam site for the whole of the UK, it can also be viewed, over the previous 24 hours, which will make it more interesting for people outside of the UK. - I am trying to find the link again! = I was looking also at B'ham, London, and Manchester, incl, Wrexham, and other places in ''the kingdom''  ( I didn't realise, how many towns and cities have them. The Forum has gone HAYWIRE !

Dave, Ian, get the spanners out.

Tonight, as usual I clicked on 'show new replies to my posts' .... and only one hour ago I had whittled that list down to nil.
So, I was surprised to see a very long list.
Intrigued I started clicking on them.... but soon realised that they were all old postings.  (Some yesterday, and some months old)

I've cleared them up again,  but is this symptomatic of some other echnical problem?
