A POPULAR bed and breakfast in Llandudno could be converted into a residential property, after a planning application was submitted.

The business currently offers six en suite bedrooms, across three storeys, with five of these rooms currently let out for six months a year.

Solely run by Tracey McLaren and her husband, the B&B has previously won awards for its service and its popularity with visitors.

?My husband and I have run the guest house by ourselves with no additional staff.

?We are now approaching retirement age and would like to continue living in our home.?

THE derelict former site of a hotel in Llandudno is to become an ?aparthotel? after a new owner purchased the site.

Previously The Woodlands Hotel, 47-49 Trinity Avenue was bought by Chester-based entrepreneur Dave Goodfellow for ?225,000 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Work started on refurbishing the site about a year ago, with Dave saying roughly ?1million has been spent on bringing the property back up to scratch.

It will comprise 11 apartments, with Dave hoping to open it this summer.

prices for an apartment will vary between seasons, but likely start from roughly ?80 a night.

?We?re hoping to get it open for June or July this year. It?s a fantastic old Victorian property that needed a lot of work doing to it.
