Blue Badge 'for life' idea would put end to reapplying every 3 years
Julia Buckley MP asked whether certain users should be entitled to a 'lifetime' Blue Badge

The Labour Government has been urged to consider giving 'lifetime' parking permits to those with permanent health conditions by one of its own ministers. The MP for Shrewsbury, Julia Buckley raised the matter with the Department for Transport (DoT), which is responsible for the Blue Badge system, asking whether it would make more sense to award Blue Badges for life to individuals with lasting conditions.
