BLIND VETERANS UK could close its Llandudno branch over fears the charity could "cease to exist" should it remain open.

The charity's 'Centre of Wellbeing' at Queen's Road, Llandudno is at risk of closure following what they said was a "strategic review of their operations and financial sustainability".

The company has proposed ending its activity in Llandudno, but said no final decision had been made.

Blind Veterans UK said it was working with colleagues, its members of staff, and beneficiaries, the latter of whom it said remained its "first priority".

That will be a massive blow to Llandudno if it happens, with it being a prominent local employer and also providing a use for one of Llandudno’s largest buildings.
