THE schedule has been shared for Llandudno?s Remembrance Sunday (November 12) arrangements.                         ref pioneer

A divine service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Square, at 9.45am, with those planning to attend asked to take their seats by 9.35am.

The service will be followed by a parade, starting at 10.35am, assembling in Trinity Square at approximately 10.20am.

This will feature the Llandudno Town Band, members of Llandudno Town Council, representatives of the Royal British Legion, civic dignitaries, Armed Forces and emergency services personnel, and many more.

The parade will move onto Mostyn Street, and then onto Llandudno promenade via St George?s Place, before forming a hollow square facing the town?s war memorial.

Once at the war memorial, there will be a short address by the Royal British Legion chaplain at 10.55am, followed by a service at 11am.

This will include the traditional two-minute silence and laying of wreaths.

At 11.30am, following the laying of wreaths, the parade will reform on the promenade and proceed via Prince Edward Square and Mostyn Street, into Lloyd Street.

The salute will then be taken by the mayor and president of the Royal British Legion as it passes the town hall.

Then, the parade will proceed along Madoc Street and Augusta Street into Vaughan Street, when it will be dismissed outside the Llandudno Ex-Servicemen and Friends Social Club.
