Two events coming up......................

St Davids Hospice are appealing for supporters to join in with their STEPtember campaign which starts next month. The charity fundraiser will be challenging people to walk 10,000 steps each day throughout the month of September.
Challenge fundraiser Shannon Kelly-Jones said, ?St David?s Hospice nurses walk around 10,000 steps each day while on shift. We wanted to create a fundraiser encouraging people to walk their own 10,000 steps each day as a tribute to our hard-working medical team across our three sites and through Hospice at Home."

The Hospice has created a registration pack that will act as a helpful guide to those able to take part in the challenge.

Registration is just 5 pounds and we are here to help with STEPtember ideas for our supporters. Each sign up will receive a pack that contains a calendar to keep track as well as lots of step generating ideas. We have also set up a STEPtember Facebook group where people can post their progress pictures, videos and stories?, explained Shannon.

St David?s Hospice relies on fundraising to help keep the service running for patients and their families across North West Wales. The charity has inpatient wards in Llandudno and Holyhead, a day therapy centre in Llandudno and Bangor as well as offering a Hospice at Home service, allowing patients the choice for end of life care in their own home.
