I'm afraid that I ran out of time with my last posting but the link I've attached is an eye opener

The Holodomor's Death Toll

Yesterday, my wife had just finished reading a novel by Erin Litteken called " The memory keeper of Kyiv "        It was about the forced starvation of Ukrainians under the dictatorship of Stalin in the 1930's
My wife found the treatment of the Ukrainians so upsetting and didn't know why the whole world was unaware of this act of man's inhumanity to man
Sadly this is what the Russians are trying to do today and you can understand why the Ukranians are fighting with so much passion in the defence of their country.    If Russia wins then there will be no Ukraine and Europe may be next.

Conwy has welcomed more than 600 Ukrainians fleeing war with Russia
The rehoming scheme has been judged a 'success' and Conwy Council hopes similar schemes helping those fleeing conflict, including the Middle East, can also be supported

Conwy has provided homes for more than 600 Ukrainian refugees and "guests" – and the authority may now help those fleeing from conflict in the Middle East.

At a council meeting at Bodlondeb on Thursday, cabinet member for housing and homelessness Cllr Emily Owen told councillors that a Ukrainian rehoming scheme had been a success.

ve made a deal,' Trump tells Ukraine after US-Russia talks
It's unbelievable what Trump is saying now and on TV last night he actually said that Ukraine started the war.     What on earth is going on at the White House?

What on earth is going on at the White House?

There's a narcissistic, selfish, ignorant, criminal thug in charge. But enough of his good points.

God help us all for the next four years.

What also worries me is the Trump and Musk partnership.      It's a well known fact that Musk has been in contact with Putin a number of times over the last two years.   So what is in it for Musk and Trump?

Musk also switched off his satellite when Ukraine was having some success with their sea drones.     According to Musk he didn't want to give any side an unfair advantage, yet Russia was using his satellite when Russia was attacking Ukraine with its air drones
Even the USA must be wondering what is going on?

Trump calls Zelensky a 'dictator' as rift between two leaders deepens

If Trump thinks that about Zelensky then what does he think about Putin?      Anybody in opposition to Putin is either put in prison, exiled or killed,  now that's what you can call a dictator

After speaking to a friend last night,  I found this on Google,    it makes you wonder what is going on
"However, individual Russians have invested heavily in Trump properties, and, following Trump's bankruptcies in the 1990s, he borrowed money from Russian sources. Both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have said that Russia was an important source of money for the Trump businesses."

Hi Hugo. I’ve been reading about trump and the Russians these last few days. It goes back to the 70 s.    One minute trump says how wonderful putin is. And good mates then says he’s never met him.  It’s so sleezy where they are in each others pockets.    The American people must be so gullible.

Power, probably; he has enough money so now he's buying into power, firstly by getting the odious Trump elected.

The great thing about democracy is that anyone can get elected - even someone you don't like.
