Wild campers using car park next to iconic Welsh landmarks and leave disgusting mess in woods
Campers are also parking on local streets to the frustration of residents

Freeloading wild campers are using parking spaces at a country park to stay overnight - leaving a disgusting mess in the woods. Ty Mawr Country Park is by the Grade II Listed Cefn railway viaduct across the River Dee and close to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

The Wrexham council run site is a popular place for walkers and other visitors - both from the local area and further afield. But recently its overflow car park has become popular with wild campers.

Caravans pitch up on school playing fields as headmaster slams 'ignorant' behaviour
The school has issued a six-point plan to keep pupils safe while the caravans remain in place

Unthinking tourists?   it sounds more like freeloading travellers to me and the clean up operation will have to start once they have left the field

Cost warning as footage emerges of another Mercedes drowned on 'fun' North Wales beach
It's the latest in a spate of incidents on a beach that's quick to catch out the unwary

They are not the first for this to happen and won't be the last,  but when will they ever learn?

'Tow them away' say locals as parking issue near iconic Anglesey beach leads to warning
Local authority issued the warning ahead of an expected busy bank holiday weekend

In response, one local said: "Don't bother with fines, just tow them away!" while another had the alternative solution to "put big boulders on the grass verge....simple".

I have every sympathy with the residents of Newborough and my worst fears are that the unthinking tourists may either accidently or deliberately start fires that would destroy the forest and all the wildlife that live there
I do not know if anything has changed but many years ago the residents of Newborough had permits that were displayed on their cars that allowed them free access into the car park.   They also had a key to a second car park and the gate to the second car park is always loocked.
I know that because I had to use a key years ago.       I hope that that is still the case but it's little consolation to the residents when they get invaded by the tourists

Custodians at a nearby tourism site are worried it could become the next 'over-tourism hellhole'

I think that the long suffering residents would be more impressed with action rather than words
