A NURSING home in Llandudno currently being used as offices could welcome residents back, after plans to renovate the home were submitted.
The owners of Abbey Nursing Home, at Abbey Road, have proposed the renovation and reconfiguration of the site.
The proposal would see a facelift for the existing rooms, an extension to the second floor lounge area, and lift access to the second floor.
A three-storey home, the number of bedrooms would be reduced from 17 to 16 amid an increase in bathrooms – foul capacity would therefore be reduced, the plans said.
Abbey Nursing Home is currently only used as office space by owners Orme View Care Home Limited – this will remain the case until work has been completed.
Owners of Orme View Residential Home on Llandudno’s West Shore, the company purchased the nursing home in November 2024.
I think this company linked to past owners of the Lauriston Court Hotel?
