Thank you so much everybody for replying.

 I have been in contact with Quiggs and had a brief catch up, which was great.
Can't be many of us left now.

Unfortunately my brother Peter passed away in July but my sister Heather is still alive and living in Northamptonshire

We left the gunsite in November 1954 to move to Shropshire where I still live.

Yes I did go to school in Mr.Barlow's taxi and on the day we left he presented me with an embroidery book which he dated and signed which I still treasure.

I was 10 years old when we left.
