Clifton Road
I think I had an example of most of the cars on show, including an ex-GPO Morris 1000 van.

I can make out a Ford Corsair and a Triumph Herald. (Or was it a Vitesse?)  :)

Its a  Herald 1200 (small number plate lamp) also,  Mini, Hillman Avenger, Ford Anglia 105E, Ford Corsair (something odd on the roof, is it a Canoe?) possibly a Ford Escort mk1 with a Ford Anglia or Cortina estate behind it. I think there is a Ford Escort mk1 behind the Herald.

Great pic by the way, very interesting  $cool$

Great pic--brings back memories-- I learned to drive with my Dad in a Corsair( CWT 478B)- no wonder I can drive most things-- that was a lumbering thing-no power steering either. He used to sit with a walking stick and if I didn't lift my foot off the clutch he would prod it with the stick !! Hell I feel old !

Sort of,  I went to the Flickr page and looked at the largest size image and all becomes clear!  I also used to own many Heralds and Vitesses and many other classic cars too ^*^0

Here's some Mk1 Cortina's and an Escort in the old coach park off Conway Road, near the Council Field football ground.

The people pictured were all local footballer's.

From left, we have the Tudno Castle hotel, then Broadway Hotel, then Mostyn Estates offices in the smaller building on the right.

Nice find. Was the West Shore Cafe there back then? I can see what looks like some sort of building at extreme right but the present cafe looks to date from the 1970s.

I worked in a caravan for Richie Jones on the West Shore in the 60's.  Selling ice creams and Chris Griffiths hired out deck chairs.  That was back in the days of sand dunes, no car park or cafe.  Don't know when the cafe was built.
