My OH rang the number on the letter which came with the pass, to try and clarify the situation.
The person rang back at about 4pm.
The two car parks off Gloddaeth will be closed to visitors and the only people allowed in there will be local residents who have one of the passes. They will be manned by stewards and it will be first come first served. There will not be a charge on production of the pass. As I type there are a few vans parked outside which have been here for a day or two. Let us hope they are shifted by the 6am deadline or CCBC will have a busy time !

Just a point ! If visitor/tourist leaves his car and it is towed away, how does he know where to find it? Nothing on the yellow signs .......

It is now 9.25 am and we have had road sweepers since around 7am. There are still 13 cars within my line of vision, so the tow truck should be busy. In between the 'left over' cars there are bollards. A busy day for CCBC !

So ... they actually travelled along the correct side of the road - which left plenty of space for residents cars to be parked on this side!

In the plus side you did get your road swept!

WOUT Van Aert secured his second victory of the Tour of Britain as he battled to an uphill sprint finish on the line in Llandudno to reclaim the overall race lead after stage four.

This was such a great spectacle yesterday but it's over so quickly. I was looking forward to the UITV coverage of the riders weaving their way through Conwy and over the causeway, but the TV coverage cut off for ads and picked them up as they neared Lidl  $angry$ I could hear the helicopter sitting over Conwy too but none of the footage has made it onto the web, that I can find anyway.

Yes, very disappointing, I searched through the highlights, without luck, still the coverage of the Great Orme stage, was spectacular, and a great advert for the area.
