I am posting a couple of photos someone sent me years ago (2007 to be precise). They relate to the Welch family. The first is a business card, or advertisement, for Robert Welch. It is thought this was established c1853.
The second photo is of Llandudno FC which includes one of their players, Robert Hugh Welch. Robert Welch is second from right. The information I have is that he later managed Bangor, Football Club. He moved to Chester to work in the Royalty Theatre.
It was advised the Welch family moved to Llandudno from Liverpool in the early 1850s.
These people are not relations of mine but they are married into one of my lines.
I don't know if anyone has heard of them.
