... if you are referring to the Gwynedd Family History website you won't find Eglwysbach there as it has never been in Gwynedd!

www.clwydfhs.org.uk ... where they have the church/chapel records going back a long way but they're on microfilm in Ruthin - could be well worth a visit once you've got your notes together.
I only learnt that this morning so will be planning a vist when I can! My Thomas family is in Eglwysbach from 1820, the earliest record I can find is my great-grandfather baptized in 1821, and I have found his parents grave in Eglwysbach. Before that goes to Llansantffraid (Glan Conway) and that's also in Ruthin archives.
... digging in the archives gets addictive - on my mother's side I can go back to the 1200's all in Suffolk, then it carries on back to France with the Norman invasion!!
