Two more coronavirus-related deaths and 397 new cases have been reported across North Wales in the latest update on Tuesday (November 2).

According to Public Health Wales, there have now been 1,074 people across North Wales to die within 28 days of receiving a positive coronavirus test.

Across the entirety of Wales there were another 10 deaths recorded, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 6,177.

There were another 2,210 positive coronavirus tests across Wales bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 445,163.

There have now been 2,446,430 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out across Wales while 2,244,886 people have been double-jabbed.

There have been a further 22,136 third doses of the vaccine distributed while 446,128 people have had a booster jab.

ALMOST 2,500 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Wales.

There have been 447,665 cases of covid in Wales since the start of the pandemic.

Sadly, there have been seven additional deaths of people after testing positive for coronavirus.

In North Wales, there were 391 new cases reported in the latest update.

Flintshire - 103
Wrexham - 78
Gwynedd - 74
Denbighshire - 65
Conwy - 41
Anglesey - 30

In Wales as a whole, the seven-day rolling infection rate is now 546.2 cases per 100,000 members of the population.

In North Wales, the rate in all counties is below the national average.

Seven day rate of infection can be broken down to:
Denbighshire - 469.2/100k
Gwynedd - 442.4
Wrexham - 409.7
Flintshire - 399.7
Anglesey - 395.5
Conwy - 363.5

Last week, First Minister Mark Drakeford warned that stricter measures will be considered at the next three-weekly review if infection rates are still high in Wales.

There have been 477 further cases of coronavirus reported across North Wales in the latest update on Thursday (November 4) afternoon.

There have been no further deaths in the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board area according to Public Health Wales, meaning the total number of fatalities across North Wales within 28 days of receiving a positive coronavirus test remains at 1,074.

Across the entirety of Wales there were another 17 deaths recorded, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 6,201.

There were another 2,799 positive coronavirus tests across Wales bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 450,455.

There have now been 2,448,204 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out across Wales while 2,246,341 people have been double-jabbed.

There have been a further 23,779 third doses of the vaccine distributed while 476,545 people have had a booster jab.

Anglesey: 31 new cases - total 6,220

The deaths in the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board area, meaning the total number of fatalities across North Wales within 28 days of receiving a positive coronavirus test now stands at 1,078.

Across the entirety of Wales there were another 13 deaths recorded, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 6,214.

There were another 1,986 positive coronavirus tests across Wales bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 452,440.

NEARLY nine in 10 adults in Conwy have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
Public Health Wales data shows 84,608 people aged 18 and over have been given both doses of a vaccine up to October 31 – 86% of the area's adults.

They make up part of the 87,556 people who have been given at least one jab – 89% of the over-18 population.

Figures also show 1,743 16 and 17-year-olds in Conwy (72% of the age group) and 2,216 12 to 15-year-olds (40%) had received a first dose by then.

The data on second doses for each age group in the area shows:

16 to 17 – 532 administered (22%)
18 to 29 – 10,719 administered (74%)
30 to 39 – 9,524 administered (72%)
to 49 – 10,874 administered (83%)
50 to 54 – 7,646 administered (88%)
40 55 to 59 – 8,382 administered (90%)
60 to 64 – 7,974 administered (93%)
65 to 69 – 7,416 administered (94%)
70 to 74 – 8,057 administered (95%)
75 to 79 – 5,935 administered (96%)
80 and over – 8,081 administered (96%)

Across Wales, 2.2 million people have had both doses, equating to 82% of the over-12 population, while 2.4 million (89%) have had at least one dose and 433,348 people (16%) have had a booster vaccination.

The rates have been updated using recently released 2020 mid-year population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.

According to the latest Public Health Wales figures, Covid infection rates have increased in Conwy, Flintshire, and Gwynedd.

It comes as 419 new cases have been identified across North Wales with a total 2,583 positive coronavirus tests recorded across the entire country.

It means there have now been 455,023 coronavirus cases across Wales since the start of the pandemic.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths across North Wales remains at 1,078 although nine more were reported across the country, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 6,223.

Across Wales there have now been 2,448,879 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out while 2,246,996 people have now been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 492,433 people have had their booster jab while 24,395 people have had three doses of the vaccine.

According to the latest Public Health Wales figures on Monday November 8, another 767 cases of Covid have been reported across the region in the last 48 hours.

The new North Wales deaths were among 14 more reported nationwide in today's update.

It takes the number of coronavirus-related deaths across North Wales to 1,082 while the death toll in Wales as a whole since the start of the pandemic is now 6,237.

Nationally, a further 4,303 Covid cases have been reported in today's update from Public Health Wales, making a total of 459,325.

Across Wales there have now been 2,452,485 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out while 2,248,786 people have now been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 527,769 people have had their booster jab while 28,944 people have had three doses of the vaccine.

Today's update from Public Health Wales covers the 48 hours up to 9am on Sunday. It means that numbers published on Mondays are usually around double the usual 24 hour figure.

Data published by Public Health Wales on Tuesday (November 9)

Five more Covid-related deaths were reported nationwide in today's update, but there was no change in North Wales.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths across North Wales remains at 1,082 while the death toll in Wales as a whole since the start of the pandemic is now 6,242.

Nationally, a further 1,784 Covid cases have been reported in today's update from Public Health Wales, making a total of 461,109.

Across Wales there have now been 2,453,403 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out while 2,249,300 people have now been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 540,272 people have had their booster jab while 30,659 people have had three doses of the vaccine.

MORE than 400 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in North Wales in the latest Public Health Wales (PHW) figures.

A total of 2,171 new cases have been recorded throughout the whole of Wales in the latest figures revealed by PHW on Wednesday, November 10.

405 of those were in North Wales. These can be broken down county-by-county into:

Anglesey - 32
Conwy - 56
Denbighshire - 51
Flintshire - 89
Gwynedd - 77
Wrexham - 100

Sadly, a further 18 deaths have also been recorded throughout Wales, taking the Covid-19-related death toll since figures first went on record to 6,260.

North Wales in the latest figures released by Public Health Wales (PHW).

In the latest set of figures revealed on Thursday, November 11, a total of 2,134 new cases were recorded throughout Wales.

476 of those are in North Wales.

Anglesey - 41
Conwy - 67
Denbighshire - 60
Flintshire - 75
Gwynedd - 140
Wrexham - 93

Sadly, a further 12 deaths have also been recorded across the country, taking the total Covid-19 related death toll since figures began to 6,272.

2,455,003 people have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine

2,250,655 people have received at least two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine

32,841 people have received a three-dose primary course of the Covid-19 vaccine

571,198 have received a booster dose.

Meanwhile the latest case data from Public Health Wales shows that a further 524 positive tests for Covid were recorded across North Wales in the 24 hours up to 9am on Wednesday.

Nationally, a further 2,784 Covid cases have been reported in today's update from Public Health Wales, making a total of 468,197.

The new North Wales deaths were among four reported across the country today, taking the death toll in Wales to 6,276.

Across Wales there have now been 2,455,557 first doses of the coronavirus vaccine given out while 2,251,326 people have now been double-jabbed.

Additionally, 587,407 people have had their booster jab while 33,582 people have had three doses of the vaccine.

The national average for Wales: 482.1 (up from 477.5)

I have gotten a bit blinkered over time, I keep seeing that Wales is the worst area in the UK for covid, but it did not make sense, until I noticed the figures for South wales, even allowing for population difference, still a bit of a shock.............

For the rest of Wales
Aneurin Bevan: 884 new cases - total 91,267
Cardiff and Vale: 735 new cases - total 76,041
Cwm Taf: 597 new cases - total 76,399
Hywel Dda: 491 new cases - total 44,804
Powys: 226 new cases - total 13,549

THERE have been more than 1,800 new cases of covid reported in Wales.

Of the 1,877 new cases recorded in the latest update from Public Health Wales, 469 were in North Wales.

Sadly, a further two people have died following a positive coronavirus test.

The latest cases in North Wales can be broken down to:

Gwynedd - 130
Flintshire - 94
Wrexham - 89
Conwy - 62
Denbighshire - 57
Anglesey - 37
