Well, we've slipped to third in the incompetence tables, beaten by Brazil and the US. The US is closing in on 120,000 deaths as the egregious Trump's disastrous mismanagement continues to doom his citizens. Fascinatingly, however, most of the usually Tory diehard news papers are calling for Johnson to go.

This shouldn't be about politics, but sadly it's politicians who have so badly mishandled this issue, with their latest astonishing faux pas being the abandonment of the £11m NHS Test. Track and Trace app and the move to the Google/Apple app, having appointed Dido Harding, the woman whose mishandling of a data breach cost TalkTalk £60 million and 95,000 customers, to manage the project.

In short, it's now clear that needless deaths have occurred that could have been avoided had the current administration behaved properly.

It is, I agree. However, the timeline itself does show how the PM and the government were warned repeatedly about this and took no action. And I cannot see how anyone can justify Johnson failing even to attend the first five COBRA meetings.
