Publishing some stats can lead to complacency about the odds of getting the virus. The acceleration rates it's spreading are much more frightening.

Ian:
I agree, Dave;  that's why I'd held off until now. But I think our members are sharp enough to know the score. And the infections figure represents only those who've been admitted to hospital;  the real figure is certainly larger, probably by a factor of 10.
