actually I was supposed to join the RAF in 1987, had my dates through for the February but decided to carry on training in Somerset instead.  Never regretted the decision.

I think it was purely a case of just mincing around the periphery of the real issues.

Are we supposed to be grateful that petrol won't go UP any further in April?   (Well thats a question isn't it?)
