So when Joe Biden said “no-one is above the law”, he forgot to add ‘apart from my son’.  ;D ;D

I think the whole idea of Presidential Pardons should be scrapped.

How the Trump-Zelensky talks collapsed in 10 fiery minutes

Just when you think that Politics couldn't get any worse,  Trump and his Vice President Vance  took politics to an all time low.     Prior to the meeting Trump had said that Zalensky was a dictator and that Ukraine had started the war.     What Planet is Trump on?
I wouldn't put it past Trump and his pro Russian pal Musk to have a vested interest in the Ukrainian minerals.

A rough estimate of Ukraine's mineral wealth is $500billion........... That's quite a few luxury motor yachts for Putin's mob.

Italy won't say who's paying for the care of a $700 million superyacht tied to Putin...

Vance took the lead attacking Zelensky. Why?

JD Vance's remarkable dressing down of Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office on Friday showed the US vice-president unafraid to take centre stage as an attack dog, rather than serve like some of his predecessors as a self-effacing political understudy.

I saw a film recently, about Trumps tariffs, one section was about Mexico's new 25% tariff, and its effect on avocados alone in the US.

They have passed the increase onto their customers, and as the US imported 2.4billion pounds, these tariffs are going to fall back on the American people, I wonder how long it will take them to realise that rather than helping, it is going to cost more.

The US heavily relies on imports of fruits and vegetables from Mexico, with Mexico being the largest single source for these imports, accounting for roughly 63% of U.S. vegetable imports and 47% of fruit and nut imports in 2023.

A few links for those interested.........

US officials expected to release Prince Harry immigration records

President Donald Trump previously ruled out deporting Prince Harry in February, telling the New York Post "I'll leave him alone... He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible."

Meghan has been a vocal critic of Trump in the past, labelling him a "misogynist".

Rwanda confirms talks with US about taking in migrants

His comments come after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said last month that Washington was "actively searching" for countries that would take in "some of the most despicable human beings".

Nduhungirehe said the talks were "not new to us" as Rwanda had previously agreed to accept migrants deported by the UK.

I wonder if the US can beat the UK's record of sending just four volunteers to Rwanda?

Pope to meet Ukrainian leader after inauguration Mass

Zelensky, US Vice President JD Vance and the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio were among dignitaries in attendance.

I just hope that J D Vance has time for his confession after his disgusting and vile attack on President Zelensky at the White House.    What a hypocrite and thoroughly bad example of a Church goer
